Lars is a European Patent Attorney and an authorized Swedish Patent Attorney. He holds a M.Sc. in Materials from Luleå Technical University and from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, France.

He has technical expertise in a wide range of technical areas, such as mechanics, materials, electronics, and automatic control systems. By way of example he has extensive experience in the fields drilling and screwing tools, paper industry, hydraulic valves, pneumatics and electronics.

Lars was previously worked as in-house patent attorney at the patent department of Atlas Copco and prior to that he worked 8 years as a patent attorney at another IP law firm in Stockholm. He also has experience from being a patent examiner at the Swedish Patent and Registrations Office (PRV).

Lars has extensive knowledge and many years of experience in identifying and evaluating inventions, and drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Sweden, before the EPO and abroad. He also has solid experience in handling oppositions before PRV and EPO and assisting in infringement and invalidation proceedings before court. He understands the value of giving strategic advice to his clients in the intellectual property field, for example in order to exploit and commercialize the client’s intellectual property.
