Åke Delmar is a chemical engineer and also Authorized Patent Attorney (Sweden). He is basically a chemist, but he has also great experience of prosecuting inventions within the mechanical field. He has many years of experience of assisting clients in identifying and evaluating projects that may lead to intellectual property rights, giving pre-hand advise, preparing novelty examinations and filing of patent applications as well as proscecuting the same sucessfully in Sweden and abroad.

Åke is also European Design Attorney and has great experience of assisting his clients with advice regarding design applications in Sweden and at the OHIM. At many occations it is desirable to file both desing and patent applications for the same idea and his great technical knowledge is very useful in these types of cases.

Furthermore, Åke has great experience of giving opinions in possibel infringments in his client’s intellectual property rights, and he has at several occasions assisted as technical expert in court proceedings. Åke is also used to give lectures about patent and design rights.
