Johan Malmgren holds a Master of Science degree within radio-, data- and telecommunication and signal processing.

He has a solid experience from assisting clients with patents within various technical areas such as radio-, data- and telecommunication, coding, signal processing, computer implemented inventions, control technology, antennas and antenna systems, electronics, etc. Also general mechanical engineering and the combination of mechanical engineering and electro technology are within his field of technical knowledge.

He further has a large experience of assisting clients with strategy advice and analysis within patents and in particular in connection with business critical decisions for the clients such as decisions relating to establishment, financing, financial valuation, avoiding risk exposure, competition threats and similar. Johan has a profound knowledge on how to use patents and patent applications in order to maximize the business value for the clients in the short as well as the long perspective.

Johan has a broad academic education besides the technical area with university studies in business economics, national economics, economic history, philosophy, anthropology and law and particularly patent, trade mark, design, marketing, copy right and EU law.

He also has experience from the Patent Office where he was educated and worked as a patent examiner of patent applications within radio communication, coding, and signal processing.
